T. Richard Cuffe, Jr.
T. RICHARD CUFFE, JR., a partner, was born in Lynn and currently resides in Reading. He was graduated from Providence College and Suffolk University Law School with honors. He was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1975. After completing a clerkship with the Chief Judge of the Massachusetts Probate and Family Courts, Attorney Cuffe relocated to Washington, D.C., where he was employed by the White House Office of Consumer Affairs, initially as an attorney-advisor to the Director and Special Assistant to the President for Consumer Affairs, and subsequently as General Counsel of that office. In 1981, he engaged in lobbying activities before the Massachusetts Legislature on behalf of a major banking trade association and several other organizations and commercial interests. Attorney Cuffe has also represented banks and individuals in residential real estate and commercial loan transactions as well as provided legal assistance to small businesses. He has been a member of the Adjunct Faculty of Suffolk University Law School since 1995, where he teaches a course in real estate conveyancing law. He is a member of the Massachusetts and Lynn Bar Associations and the Massachusetts Real Estate Bar Association.
